The cyclists who register for a local event will be treated to views of Rogue Valley in full bloom, and all in support of families, both in the area and around the world.
The ‘Pedals n’ Pears’ fundraising ride will offer a choice of four different routes, and the cyclists can choose the one that best fits their abilities and interest. These range from the 62-mile-long Royal Riviera to the four-mile long Comice family ride, and all the participants will be welcome to stay for the after-party, no matter which option they select.
Each route will have rest stops set up at regular intervals, and there will be mobile support teams as well. Food will be on offer for purchase at the finish line, and anyone who completes the 62-mile challenge will receive their meal at no cost. There will also be music, a raffle, and special activities for the kids.
Ride packages will be made available for pick up on the day before the fundraiser, and they can also be obtained at check-in. Print shops can provide everything from race bibs to a finish line banner, volunteer T-Shirts, finisher’s medals, and other items that can support this sort of event.
Those who register for the Pedals n’ Pears fundraiser are asked to start gathering at the staging area starting at 8:00 am on April 13. It will be located at 1520 Siskiyou Boulevard in Medford.
