Medford home chefs who have always wanted to learn the basics of French cookery can do so when they take a seat in a class that will take their kitchen skills to the next level.
Whether they are in a big city like Paris or a small village, bistros are a popular dining option in France. The French Cooking class planned by the Fry Family Farm will explore this cuisine and teach how it can easily be prepared at home.
The learners in the workshop will find out how simple French cookery can be, and they will learn some of the classic techniques used. These can be incorporated into a home chef’s repertoire and be used in a variety of dishes.
Tickets for the class are $60 each, and it will be a hands-on activity, and taking part in this type of function can also be a fun way to meet others who are also interested in cooking. If the organizers have simple cook Books on hand that contain the recipes that are taught to give to each student, they will be able to prepare them on their own a lot more easily. A printing services company will be able to prepare these sorts of items.
Medford’s Fry Family Farm can be found at 2184 Ross Lane, and it will be hosting this class on August 20. It will begin at 6:00 pm and continue on until 8:00 pm.
