Classic car buffs who would like to show off their pride and joy are welcome to register for an event that will give pre-1979 vehicles a moment in the sun.
Over 500 trucks and cars are expected to be on site for the ‘79 and Older Show and Shine, which will be rolling into Fichtner-Mainwaring Park in Medford. The team of judges will select the winners, and there are several categories to enter.
The categories that will be on offer include MOPAR, Hot Rods, Imports, Fords, Chevy, Sports Cars, and Others. From these, the judges will choose Best in Class as well as Best in Show. Admission is free to the spectators, and those who would like to register their vehicle will be charged a fee of $40 each.
To thank the exhibitors for helping to make the function a success, those who enter a car or truck before May 31 will receive an assortment of perks. These include Promotional Products such as a T-shirt, dash plaque and other swag. Anyone who Signs up is asked to be on site starting at 9:00 am, and the show will begin at 11:00 am.
The event will be adding some extra excitement to this coming summer for Medford residents who love vehicles, and it will be held on Saturday, June 18.
