A market in Medford will put our feathered friends center stage this fall.
The Northwest Bird Club has cordially invited all area avian fanciers to attend its Bird Mart, which will be taking place this October at the Jackson County Fairgrounds. This will be the 43rd year of what is always a popular activity.
For five hours, this expo-style occasion will help those who are interested in finding a new forever feathered friend to love, and many members of the parrot family will be included, along with other species like doves and canaries. Supplies such as cages, perches, covers, carriers and food will be available, and everyone can sit in on an educational presentation. Nail trims and other grooming options can be accessed on site for a small fee, and raffles, draws, food, and bird-safe cleaning products will all be on offer.
The listing for the expo explained that the proceeds will be used to help raise public awareness about issues related to the proper care of companion birds. A printing services company can prepare everything from informative Brochures to promotional Pens that feature a not-for-profit group’s Logo Design.
The 43rd annual Bird Mart will be giving the avian set its day in the sun on Sunday, October 1. The doors will open to shoppers at 10:00 am.
