Medford area site to offer festive tours

Medford residents are welcome to be among the guests at an area event that will take a step back in time.

The volunteers at Hanley Farm will be leading ticket holders through guided tours of the site, which can be found in Central Point. Each group will be limited to six people, and they will depart every five minutes. Masks are mandatory for those who wish to participate.

The guests will have a chance to learn about the home and the role it played in the area’s past. The volunteers are all knowledgeable about the farmhouse, and before each tour sets off, the attendees will be invited to enjoy a warm drink. While tickets may be available at the door, the organizers say those who want to be sure they do not miss out may want to reserve theirs early.

Many historic sites use signage to help the visitors learn more about its exhibits. Items like these can be prepared by an area printing services company. Its graphic design team can even craft them so that they fit in well with a particular historical period.

Hanley House will be rolling out the red carpet for this festive event on Sunday, December 26. The Southern Oregon Historical Society’s website contains more details, and the schedule begins at 10:00 am.
