While many may be familiar with flea markets, tag sales, and other opportunities to score some one-of-a-kind and vintage finds, one planned for the Medford area will have items that are more on the quirky side.
The Historic Ashland Armory has been selected to serve as the venue for an event planned with lovers of life’s eclectic side in mind. It will be highly curated, and attendees are encouraged to make a weekend out of it and explore all the location has to offer.
The market portion of the activity will be filled with a variety of handmade creations, art, taxidermy, spread and pinned butterflies and other insects, jewelry, home décor, and more. The Oddities Show will feature entertainers as well as a photo booth, music, face painting, workshops, tarot readings, and a cash bar. Anyone under five will be admitted free of charge, and the venue is ADA accessible so everyone can join the fun.
It was explained in the function's listing that the workshops are considered add-ons and must be paid for separately from the admission price. Workshops that require copying and other printing services can source them from local Print shops.
The Ashland Oddities and Curiosities Show will celebrate life’s quirky side on Saturday, August 10. It will be open from 12:00 noon until 6:00 pm.
