The 24th annual Medford Providence Festival of Trees is taking place for five days next month. The fundraising event is presented by the Providence Community Health Foundation.
The festival is set to feature dozens of decorated trees, stockings, wreaths, centerpieces, and a toy sleigh. One of the trees will be raffled off. Entertainment will be provided by local groups such as Southern Oregon Sound, the Central Point Senior Singers, One Voice, and the Sacred Heart Church Choir. There will also be visits from Santa Claus, a holiday store, and a Teddy Bear Hospital.
The opening night gala will include live and silent auctions and a champagne reception, perhaps making it a good opportunity to exchange digital Business Cards. It will take place on December 2 from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm, and tickets are $150 each. The next night there is a holiday party for those aged 21 and over, which will feature musical entertainment, dancing, and food and drink. Tickets are $50.
One special event taking place will be ‘An Evening of Giving’ for families who may not be able to afford to attend otherwise. There will be food, drinks and games.
The Festival of Trees will be held at the Providence Medford Medical Center from December 2 to 6. Tickets cost $5 for adults, or $3 for seniors and children aged 12 and under. Call 541-732-5193 to find out more.
