Medford will be the latest stop in the Latin band Guardianes Del Amor’s tour this spring when they perform at the Tequila Nightclub.
The band is originally from Mexico and has five members: Arturo Rodriguez, Oscar Saul Cervantes, Daniel Poplawsky, Pablo Calderon, and Ernesto Garcia.
Guardianes Del Amor makes music in the Grupero genre, a type of Mexican music that fuses Rock, Mariachi, Latin Pop and other genres using electric guitar and other Rock instruments.
Guardianes Del Amor has released numerous albums over the years and received five Latin Grammy Award nominations, including four for Best Grupero Album for Decorame El Corazon, Olvidarte Nunca, Muriendo De Frio and Un Millon De Lagrimas. They were also nominated for best Grupero Performance for Un Pedazo De Luna at the very first Latin Grammy Awards.
To this day, Guardianes del Amor’s monthly streams number in the millions and they have a dedicated core online following.
Some of their best-known songs will be performed at the upcoming concert, including Amor Se Escribe Con Llanto, El Perro, el Gato y Yo and Cuatro Palabras.
Guardianes del Amor’s latest tour includes stops in Richardson and Arlington, Texas; Wilson and Greenville, North Carolina; Woodbridge, Virginia; Los Angeles, California and Federal Way and Centralia, Washington.
