Valentine’s Day was made for sweetness and love, and a Medford art studio will be entering into the spirit of the occasion when it hosts a tea and cookie decorating party.
Everyone who is at least eight years of age is welcome to attend a workshop that will teach them how they can create unique cookies. Instruction will be provided by artist Tika Nicole Weeks, and at the end of the class, the group will be able to take their masterpieces home with them to share or keep for themselves.
The participants in the workshop will be working with edible, food-quality colors, and the facilitator will supply all the tips needed to complete the project. While they work, the attendees can enjoy a cup of tea and some freshly baked treats, and as seating will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, those who are interested may want to register well ahead of time.
Tickets for the class can be purchased online for $25 each. Packaging printed with the organizer’s Logo Design can be presented to each participant at the end of this sort of session, allowing them to take their extras home with them.
Delish, which can be found at 543 Medford Center, will be welcoming the public for this workshop on February 8. The fun is set to kick off at 3:00 pm.
