Annual fair returns to Central Point

The Jackson County Summer Fair will be held this July for five days.

This is an old-fashioned country fair that will entertain the entire family with auctions, a rodeo, and a 4-H fair; there will be separate auctions for beef and goat, swine and poultry, and other livestock. There will also be carnival rides and midway games, food and drink concessions, vendors selling a variety of merchandise, and agricultural exhibits.

Part of the celebration is a music festival which will feature over 30 performers, including Theory of Deadman, 38 Special, and Brett Eldridge; tickets for the three mentioned artists range in price from $25 to $40, while the other concerts are free of charge.

There will also be several arts and crafts competitions taking place in topics such as flowers, photography, home and hobby, and gems, minerals and jewelry.

RV camping is also available for those who wish to stay close to the action.

This event will likely attract visitors from all over Jackson County, including those from nearby Medford. Local printing companies may be asked to provide advertising materials such as Posters, Flyers and Brochures.

The Jackson County Summer Fair will be held at the Jackson County Expo from July 22 to 26. To get more information and for the latest updates on planned fair activities, either visit the official website or call 541-774-8270.
