A local animal rescue will be a part of an event featuring a group of companies in early June. This is sure to entertain Mentor residents.
Pup Crawl is an experience that combines the activity of a bar crawl with dogs and other fun activities. The event is helmed by Lake Humane Society and Adoption Center. The organization will have some of its team members at a few of the bars participating, along with dogs that are up for adoption through the center. While the dogs are available, adoptions are not being done during the crawl. Raffles are also taking place for several prizes.
Tickets can be purchased online for $30, or $35 at the registration point. Included in the ticket price are special offers for both food and drinks, a shirt featuring a themed graphic design, and a “Pup Cup” drink koozie. Registration will start at 12:30pm on the day of the activity, behind Barrio. A waiver will need to be signed, and having a valid identification card is also needed.
A few dates before the event are allotted for those who have bought their spots to pick up the gifts. These include May 31, with the time being 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and June 1st with the window being 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Both times, the location is the Lake Humane Society.
With the event being located in Downtown Willoughby, parking will take time to find. Attendees are encouraged to use a driving service such as Uber or Lyft, due to alcohol being served. Todd Field, Sol, and street parking will be available as well.
The Pup Crawl is set to take place on June 4, running from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
