Kayaking experience takes adventurers into Mentor marsh

Mentor residents looking for a bit of adventure will want to mark the date on their Calendars, as a kayaking excursion will be exploring a local marsh.

The Morning Marsh Paddle will be helping Mentor’s residents explore local nature by stepping away from solid ground. Led by an experienced guide, the experience will take participants through the local lagoons to explore a unique ecosystem from a different perspective.

It is an ideal fit for local morning birds, as it will start early to allow each participant to watch and listen as the marshes come alive. Coffee and binoculars are recommended to get the most from the kayaking experience. Organizations can use flyer printing as a cost-effective promotional tool to reach members of the community in an efficient and unobtrusive way, boosting excitement and positive brand feelings.

Registration is required to participate in the kayaking adventure. It is expected to take two hours with the goal of bringing guests closer to wildlife. Personal floatation devices and kayaks are provided with the cost of registration. Participants are encouraged to check the weather and dress for the conditions.

Registered participants will meet at Mentor Lagoons Nature Preserve & Marina, located on Harbor Drive. The kayaking adventure is set for 7:00 AM on Saturday, July 18. Registration costs $25 per person.
