Mentor residents will be able to take their kids over to Willoughby for a festive event with the one and only Mrs. Claus in mid-December.
Flyer printing will often be used to promote similar activities, usually being distributed throughout surrounding areas by volunteers or event staff.
Cookies with Mrs. Claus is an experience for children that allows them to drink hot cocoa, decorate cookies, write letters for Santa, hear stories, and learn Christmas secrets. Before the event comes to a close, a mystery mailman will visit to get the letters the kids have written.
The activity will be hosted at the Little Red Schoolhouse. The organization known as the Little Red Schoolhouse Society Inc., has maintained and managed the building since it was placed at the current location in the year 1975. It is a part of a small lot containing three buildings.
Due to the building being constructed in 1901, the number of attendees will likely be relatively small. It is a single-room venue, so Covid-19 guidelines will need to be followed closely.
Making a reservation is required in order for the children to attend the event. Tickets, which are a donation to the organization, will cost $5 per kid.
It will be about an hour and a half long, lasting from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. The date is set to be December 11.
