An exciting and festive event will lead participants through Mentor in early December.
Run Santa Run 5K is a GCXC Race Timing & Management experience. Attendees can choose whether they run or walk, giving people the option to participate in a more relaxed manner.
Everyone is encouraged to show up decked out in festive looks. The aim is to bring some holiday cheer to the city by filling the streets with elves, Santas, and other Christmassy outfits.
Via RunSignUp, interested parties can register for the activity, and find information about where to locate their packets, as well as a visual map of the course’s route.
Prior to the 26th of November, there will be a lower entry cost of $30. After this date, the price will go up to $35.
As a bonus for participating in the 5K, everyone will be given a set of Promotional Products. These include a classic Santa hat, a set of fleece pajama pants, and a medal to commemorate finishing the race.
On the day of, the packets, including these items, can be picked up at the Second Sole Mentor building. This will open up at 7:30am. On December 9th, the venue will also have pickup available between 11:00am and 6:00pm.
