An artist in Mentor will be leading a unique art class in a local brewery in early January.
Cleveland Ohio Landscape Paint + Sip is an experience where guests will get to learn from a local artist as they drink from their choice of beers and other beverages.
Cory, the artist leading the lesson, will be teaching the attendees various painting techniques, going through the image in layers, allowing them to create a painting with more depth. A stencil will be provided in order to help get the lettering to be consistent between paintings. The canvas is going to be a wood piece in the shape of the state of Ohio. The image will depict an Ohio skyline, along with a lake and other landscape elements.
Food is permitted to be brought into Mentor Brewing Company, also known as The Brew Mentor. The venue has a pizzeria next to it, as well as other places nearby. Flyer printing will often be used in promotion of events like this one, as well as when promoting local restaurants.
Tickets for this event will cost $39. This includes access to the activity, as well as a ticket for one drink of the buyer’s choice. Due to the venue being a brewery, and the event serving alcohol, participants will need to have a valid photo ID with them.
This activity will last for two hours, beginning at 6:30 pm and ending at 8:30 pm, on January 5.
