Black Brook Golf Course is organizing a Mother’s Day special event this year. Mothers in Mentor can enjoy a free round of golf when accompanied by a paying child or adult.
Black Brook is an 18-hole golf course open since 1929, of which the City of Mentor took over ownership and operations in 2005. The golf course has a modern practice facility, new tees, and drainage. The course provides private lessons, golf schools, and leagues for juniors, men, women, and couples. The Junior golf league coaches over 100 budding golfers during each summer season.
Black Brook Golf Course recommends booking tee time before the intended play time. Players can call (440)-951-0010 to arrange this, or book online at blackbookgolfcourse.com. Players are permitted to book tee times up to one week in advance. Groups comprising 20 players or more are encouraged to book at their earliest opportunity to allow enough time for planning.
For safety reasons, players must maintain distance from others at the course and avoid approaching the first tee before their booked time. Only those played are allowed on the golf course and they must bring their own golf clubs. Events like these are usually advertised with the help of banner printing.
The event will be held on May 9 from 12:00 noon at Black Brook Golf Course and Practice Center, 8900 Lakeshore Boulevard.
