A show paying tribute to a group from the ‘90s will be a part of a series of events in Mentor to celebrate the summer season. This concert will take place in late July.
Mentor Rocks is an annual series where artists from the local area are able to perform for crowds in an outdoor setting. This show in particular will be honoring the hit-making group No Doubt.
The band performing the tunes is known as No Duh. Songs the group currently covers include “Just A Girl,” “Trapped In A Box,” “Don’t Speak,” “Bathwater,” and “Looking Hot,” as well as some songs from frontwoman Gwen Stefani such as “Holla Back Girl.” Requests can be submitted for other records through the band’s website.
The venue for this event is the Mentor Civic Center Amphitheater, where guests are encouraged to bring their own seating. A map is available to help guests find facilities such as bathrooms, refreshments, and parking. Food trucks and alcoholic drinks will be present for purchase, and non-alcoholic drinks can be brought along. On the event website, a picture of most trucks and the respective Logo Design can be found, along with a short description of the dishes served.
Entry to this concert is free, along with parking. The show will run from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on July 19.
