A brewery in Mentor will be hosting an art lesson with a bit of a twist in mid-May.
Ohio Paint Pour Party is an event where guests will be able to create a unique piece of art while drinking a locally crafted beer or eating some delicious food. The lesson will be led by Cory, of the organizer Grass Root Designs LLC, who will be there to assist everyone as they go along. Flyers with the company Logo Design for the host and the venue are often made when promoting activities like this one.
One of the special aspects of pour painting is that zero brushes are needed. There is a special formula known as “pouring medium” which allows the paints to flow on their own as they are put onto the surface being painted. In this case, that surface is a wood piece in the shape of Ohio, with the name of the state carved out in the middle. Each artist will be able to choose a total of four different colors to use.
Mentor Brewing Company is the venue for the event. While there is no menu of food, the location does sell local snacks, and also allows for visitors to order delivery to their door. There are a variety of drink options to choose from.
Tickets include one beer, and are sold for $45. The class will begin at 6:30pm and run until 8:30pm on May 18th. It is recommended that attendees come at least 10 minutes prior to the start, in order to have time to grab their drinks, food, and seat.
