An area golf tournament is coming to the Mentor area next month, offering local golfers a chance to dust off their clubs and try their luck.
The Insurance Board of Northern Ohio Annual Golf Outing is scheduled to take place in late June. It will provide insurance professionals in the Mentor region with an opportunity to try their luck on the links while enjoying networking opportunities. The day of golf will include playing 18 holes and access to a golf cart for a leisurely afternoon outdoors. The playing style will use a shotgun start involving teams of four.
Each team will require four players to participate, and individual and foursome sign-ups are available. The event aims to gain sponsorships from area businesses, using banner printing and other marketing resources to build awareness and acquire new customers.
At the golf course, participants will be provided with food and beverages throughout the day. Boxed lunches and an all-American dinner are included in the registration costs. Beer, liquor, and a raffle basket will also be available to registered guests. Interested parties can contact services@ibno.org for more information or questions.
The Little Mountain Country Club will host the regional golf outing on Thursday, June 27th, beginning at 9:00 am. Golfers are encouraged to arrive early to register. Tickets are available online, starting at $195 per golfer.
