A family-friendly autumn experience is coming to Mentor, allowing attendees to cozy up on golf carts for a mysterious ride on the Manor Trail.
The Mysteries of the Manor Golf Cart Hayride is about to get started in a few weeks, giving interested parties a fall experience to remember. The one-of-a-kind event is open to Mentor residents, who are encouraged to arrive early and stay late for the festival that serves as the hayride’s backdrop.
The ride will take participants through the haunted forest before arriving at a spooky mansion. Guests will be encouraged to take a stroll through the mansion to create a free craft, get a preview of the seasonal train layout, see clips from popular scary movies, and play games. Flyer printing can help organizers place notices in high-traffic areas around the town to generate impressions and create excitement about community events.
Seasonal vendors will attend the hayride to showcase their handmade crafts. Food trucks will also be at the host site with light bites and meals. The event will run for two days, with the second day dedicated to creating a family-friendly environment.
The autumn hayride experience will be held at Wildwood’s in Mentor, and is scheduled to start on Friday, October 24 at 6:00 PM. It will resume the following day at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $15 per person.
