An upcoming dinner and auction will benefit a local rescue in Wickliffe, a town just miles from Mentor.
This is the fourth annual Kitten Ka Noodle for the cat rescue. House of Mews is a non-profit organization that strives to help abandoned and abused cats find a good home. The rescue has a website for anyone curious about one of the kitties or the policies for adoption. The evening of events will allow the group to continue this mission, all while providing a few hours of fun for those attending.
Dinner will have a variety of options, including something for those on vegetarian or vegan diets. The company providing the meal is the Normandy Catering Company. Drinks will be available through an open bar. Anyone with curiosities or concerns about the menu is able to view some of the past dishes through the website.
Printing services are often used at such events to give guests access to a menu on the night. In addition to catering, the business will also be providing the venue, which will be the Normandy Party Center. The catering service donates unused food from events to the St. James Church out of Painesville.
A raffle and auction will allow participants to contribute more funds while getting their hands on prizes. A DJ will provide music and entertainment.
Tickets will cost $40 each. The date of the fundraiser is October 2, with the hours being from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
