A culinary event and dining experience is around the corner for Mentor food enthusiasts, sharing the best food options from around the region.
The Taste of Mentor, presented by Erie Bank, will begin in a few weeks. It will showcase the best offerings of the top restaurants and food vendors in Mentor. The event aims to combine food and fun for a memorable evening, with participating restaurants submitting entrants into categories for the top appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
At the event's conclusion, all attendees will have an opportunity to vote on their favorite food options, and the winning entrants will be announced. It will be a seated gathering with limited space and interested parties are encouraged to make reservations before they fill up. A cash bar will also be available, offering beer and wine options for individuals wanting to create their pairings. Guests who drink are encouraged to find a safe ride home. World Wines and Liquors will provide the beverages for the gathering, and restaurants will be announced soon.
The Father Kline Social Center will host the food festival on Thursday, October 24th. Doors will open at 5:30 PM, and the event will conclude at 7:30 PM. Tickets cost $40 per attendee and can be reserved online.
