Art and science lovers in Mentor should avoid making plans next month, as an art show in the area is aligning with the upcoming solar eclipse.
The Total Eclipse of the Arts show is scheduled to take place in a few weeks. It will allow Mentor residents to witness a solar eclipse while also learning about up-and-coming artists in the region. The event will entail a family-friendly environment, with activities involving art, music, dancing, and theater. All events are inspired by the eclipse, offering an immersive learning opportunity for children and adults of all ages.
Guests will enjoy access to food trucks and vendors at the event to remain refreshed and hydrated while waiting for the eclipse. These include the CLE Chicken Food Truck and CLE Cotton Candy vendors. Flyer printing has been credited as being an outstanding method for announcing events like this to the local community.
All guests are welcome to see the eclipse in all its glory, and the Eclipse Community Ambassador of the Great Lakes Science Center will provide special viewing glasses for safety. Guests are encouraged to check the weather and wear appropriate clothing if they intend on viewing the eclipse.
The Fairmount Center for the Arts will host the viewing and art show, which is scheduled for Monday, April 8, beginning at 1:00 pm. Tickets are free for all guests, and interested parties can register online.
