Moms in Lewis Center will have an opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities while building new friendships, with help from a local health organization.
The Our Village Free Stroller Walk, presented by Fit4Mom Columbus North, is coming to Lewis Center next month to help area mothers connect, build a support network, and enjoy quality time outside. The organizers hope to help these mothers get outside of the house and enjoy a new activity in the warmer spring weather.
The event will kick off with a relaxed stroller walk around the host site before segueing into playtime at the park’s playground. The opening walk will last roughly 20 minutes and is suitable for attendees of all fitness levels. Participants are encouraged to walk at a pace that feels comfortable for them. Poster printing provides an effective way to catch attention and spread awareness of such events around the town, helping local moms connect.
Mothers who attend can enjoy a way to stay active without overthinking the process, while also providing their young ones a fun setting to burn off excess energy. Interested parties are asked to bring a stroller, water bottle, snacks, and friends.
The walk is all set for Friday, April 3rd, with participants meeting at 10:00 AM. It will be held at Highbanks Metro Park in Lewis Center. Families can RSVP to attend the free event online.
