Lewis Center prepares for holiday-themed candle-making workshop

A creative workshop is giving Lewis Center residents a chance to get into the holiday spirit this November while making scented candles to add to their home decor.

The Holiday Candle-Making Workshop is getting set to welcome participants to a Lewis Center venue next month, with participants getting guidance on how to create and customize scented candles in a welcoming and upbeat setting. The Candle Social LLC is organizing this gathering with assistance from Blo Blow Dry Bar.

Spots will be limited in the workshop, so interested individuals are encouraged to book theirs in advance to ensure participation. Students will start the workshop by painting and personalizing a glass jar that will be the vessel for the holiday candle. Print shops can provide organizers of such events with high-quality instruction sheets to hand out to students to support their learning experience.

The next step will require participants to fill the glass jar with eight ounces of candle wax. The entire experience will be guided by expert instructors, and all necessary supplies will be included in the registration cost. Light snacks and beverages will also be available to fuel the learning process.

Blo Blow Dry Bar, located on East Powell Street in Lewis Center, is hosting the creative workshop on Sunday, November 8 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Tickets cost $36 per student online.
