A 24-hour spree of board games and fun is in the works in Lewis Center for next month, giving area residents with an affinity for games the chance to support a good cause.
The 11th Annual 24-Hour Board Game Marathon for Children’s Hospital is getting organized and working with the host venue to welcome a large crowd of Lewis Center residents who want to have fun in support of a good cause. The event is being organized by the Beers and Board Games Club of Columbus to raise money for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
All the money generated by enrollment fees will go to support children in need, and the event will feature hundreds of tabletop games for participants to enjoy with like-minded individuals. Banner printing is a colorful way to welcome attendees to such community events and fundraisers.
A stacked silent auction will give attendees the chance to bid on items that stand out to them and leave as winners. Attendees can drop in and stay for a few hours or stay for the entire 24 hours of playing time. Several food trucks will attend to provide sustenance to players.
The Olentangy River Brewing Company will host the fundraiser on Saturday, November 8th, starting at 11:00 AM and ending at the same time on November 9th. Tickets can be purchased for $20 online or at the door.
