Wellness workshop announces summer session in Lewis Center

A wellness workshop will be opening its doors to Lewis Center residents this June, offering insights into ways to regain control of focus, mood, and energy.

The Stress, Focus, & Cortisol workshop, which is part of the Evans Farms Wellness Series, has an official date on the calendar, and interested parties in the Lewis Center area are encouraged to sign up. The workshop will be led by Dr. Marguerite Weston and Colleen Bush, RDN, who will take a closer look at the science of cortisol and how it affects mental health.

Attendees will learn about the extent of the damage caused by chronic stress in the human body through open and honest conversations with the workshop’s leaders. The event will cover how cortisol dysregulation can affect sleep patterns, immune function, and weight. The hosts will also take a closer look at the connection between gut health and chronic stress. Print shops can help organizers procure high-quality marketing materials to promote events like this.

The event will conclude with the hosts providing interventions and health tips that lead to results, including dietary adjustments, lifestyle changes, and functional medicine approaches.

Evans Farm, located at 5609 Evans Farm Drive in Lewis Center, will host the Cortisol workshop on Thursday, June 11th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Interested parties can reserve a spot online for free.
