Lewis Center singles looking to show off their pickleball skills while finding a romantic partner are in luck, as a multi-week pickleball and dating event is coming to town.
The DateColumbus Pickleball League, a seven-week league with a singles mixer, will kick off next month. It will give area players and enthusiasts a new avenue toward finding a new pickleball and life partner. The league is designed to offer a fun and competitive playing experience that brings singles together in real life.
The goal is to create a community and drive connections between players in the league. Participants can anticipate making new friends with each week of the season. Icebreakers and mixers will be included to help each person come out of their shell and make new friendships and relationships. Banner printing is an excellent way to award the league winners while promoting the corporate sponsors.
The league is open to players of all skill and experience levels. Organizers will teach players and match skill levels for the best matches. Players are encouraged to purchase and bring their paddles each week, though the host has a limited supply available.
Paddle Taps will play host to the pickleball league, which will start on Saturday, January 4th, with the first matches starting at 2:00 PM. League registration is open online, and tickets cost $175 per player.
