Music society to host folk weekend
The Central Ohio Folk Festival will once again be held this May.
This is a two-day family event that features the best aspects of the festival experience, such as live music, food and an open space for exploration.
There will be multiple stages for attendees to enjoy live performances from various genres, including roots, folk, and Americana. The headlining act for day one of the event will be the Illinois-based Way Down Wanderers Band.
Additional attractions will include a jam tent, activities for children, and more than 30 music workshops for those in attendance. These are free to try for patrons, and they may build or learn to play an instrument of their choice during the sessions. There will also be a nature tent, drum circles, and a festival store for souvenirs.
Entry to the grounds gives patrons access to all areas and tents. The cost for entry will be a donation to the Festival, which can be done through the Eventbrite listing. A donation of $20 will earn patrons a free goodie bag.
Flyer printing can be great for informing attendees of the many attractions at events such as this.
This festival begins at 10:30 am at the Highbanks Metro Park on May 7 and 8. This is located at 9466 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center, Ohio. It ends at 5:30 pm on both days.
