A New Year’s volleyball tournament has been added to the community calendar for Hamilton, bringing the top youth volleyball players in the region to town.
The New Year’s Bash Volleyball Tournament has an official start date, bringing top teams and players from around Ohio, Kentucky, and other regional states together to determine which team is the best. The tournament is open to teams competing in USAV, AAU, and JVA competitions, with each team getting a five-match guarantee.
Youth players aged ten through twelve are welcome to register and compete in the competition. The winners of each group will receive medals to commemorate their accomplishments and victories. The registration pool is limited to 16 teams per age group, and coaches interested in registering their teams are encouraged to do so while slots remain. For convenience, families looking for a place to stay during the tournament can stay at the Warehouse Hotel, a short walk from the volleyball courts. The combination of teams will be accepted at the discretion of the tournament’s director.
The Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Champion Mill will host the volleyball tournament on Saturday, January 4th, with the first matches set for 8:00 AM. Entry fees are $450 per team and can be paid online.
