Hamilton residents who wish to take a deeper dive into the history of the United States for the nation’s 250th anniversary will want to make note of an upcoming event in town.
Garfield Middle School’s America250 Community Fair has officially been announced, allowing community members and other interested parties to save the date and make plans to attend. The event, which is being hosted by the Garfield Middle School PTO, will provide an historic afternoon of celebrating the “Griffin Way.”
Guests can look forward to a day of community fun, exciting entertainment, and a full docket of educational experiences. Attendees can step back in history and dive into an immersive Revolutionary War experience featuring a dedicated student encampment and live performances by re-enactors wearing traditional clothing. Banner printing can provide the resources to promote events like this to passersby in the community, bringing in more visitors.
A Patriotic Tribute segment will also be held involving the live reading of the Declaration of Independence. Several local vendors are expected to attend and showcase their crafts and goods, adding to the experience. The celebration will conclude later that night with an impressive fireworks show.
The fair will be held at 250 North Fair Avenue in Hamilton. It has been scheduled for Saturday, May 16th, starting at 3:00 PM. Interested parties can RSVP online.
