Families with children in Hamilton will have options to consider when planning their trick-or-treating excursions this October, as the town is organizing an event for the entire community.
The Main & High Halloween Trail: Trick-or-Treating in Downtown Hamilton is right around the corner, and children who are excited to participate will want to start narrowing down their favorite costume options in preparation. The trail will run from Main Street to High Street, with businesses along the bridge corridor participating to add to the community celebration.
Trick-or-treat stations will be set up along the route where families can stop and their children can add to their collection of Halloween candy. Music and entertainment are also being organized along the route, and community businesses and organizations will have space to set up booths where they can connect with potential customers. Business Cards and other printed resources are an effective way to make those connections in such settings.
Organizers will provide a safe and walkable trick-or-treating experience with photo opportunities to capture core memories, and parents are welcome to indulge in the holiday by wearing their favorite costumes. It is being sponsored by 17STRONG Hamilton.
Participants can meet at 344 High Street in downtown Hamilton at 6:00pm on Friday, October 30th. The event is expected to end at 8:00pm. General admission is free and open to the public.
