Parents who are looking for things to keep their children busy over summer break will want to make a note, as a LEGO-themed day camp is coming to Hamilton.
The LEGO-themed Do-It-All Day Camp for Kids has announced that enrollment is open for two July dates, giving children on summer break in Hamilton a fun and stimulating creative outlet. The event will help little ones explore three different artistic mediums, including canvas painting and clay-making, while tapping into their creative abilities.
Campers who paint will be able to take their canvas home at the end of the day. Pottery paintings will require 7 to 10 days before they are available for pickup. Students who are painting pottery can choose between acrylic and glaze paints to complete their LEGO masterpieces. Camps like this can use tools like brochure printing to provide informational materials to parents who are seeking fun summer activities for their children.
The pottery project will involve constructing a large LEGO box. The canvas paintings will feature a mini-figure self-portrait within the LEGO theme. Clay-making participants will construct a mini-figure head cup or planter. It’s an ideal camp for children between 6 and 12 years old.
The LEGO creative camp will be hosted at 547 Main Street in Hamilton. Session one starts at 9:00 AM on July 14th, and session two is set for 1:00 PM on July 16th. Registration is $35 per child.
