Hamilton parents with children who can’t get enough of all things Minecraft are in luck this summer, as a Minecraft-themed day camp has opened enrollment in town.
The Minecraft-themed Do-It-All Day Camp for Kids, which is being organized by The Studio, is offering a fun full-day experience where Hamilton children can immerse themselves in the world of the iconic video game. The event, which is geared toward younger children, is meant to harness their love of Minecraft to bring out creativity and self-confidence.
Children who participate in the experience will get to choose from a pottery painting, canvas painting, or clay-making activity. Children who opt to paint a canvas will take their finished project home with them at the end of the day. Pottery paintings may take between 7 and 10 days before they’re ready for pickup. Flyer printing is a low-cost way to reach a large audience, particularly when paired with grassroots marketing tactics.
Parents will receive a notification when their child’s project is ready to be picked up. Clay pieces are able to be painted with glaze or acrylic paint, both of which are included in the registration price.
The Studio, located at 547 Main Street in Hamilton, will host the Minecraft creative experience. It will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd, and Thursday, June 4th, starting at 9:00 AM. Online registration costs $35, with another $35 due on the day of class.
