Locals can enjoy a night out with friends making sweet-smelling terrazzo soap under the direction of Alison, The Lavender Sachet’s founder.
Included in the fun experience is designing a soap with a mix of complementary fragrances. Those attending the workshop will be able to sample and select their own scents from options that include lemon, lime, grapefruit, sweet orange, lavender, ylang-ylang, sandalwood, peppermint, bergamot, yuzu, rose, honeysuckle, jasmine, vanilla, tea tree, coconut, and eucalyptus.
After choosing their scents, the group will progress to selecting the colors and design that will go into the creation of their own one-of-a-kind bars of terrazzo soap.
When an event is limited in size, promotion via flyer printing services can be particularly useful.
As the soaps harden, attendees can, for an additional charge, enjoy creating a spring bouquet of their own at the Flower Bar, or shop the Two Little Buds for some locally created products. Attendees will leave the workshop with two five-ounce custom terrazzo soap bars of their own making.
The Lavender Sachet was founded in 2020. It creates hand-crafted body products, including soaps, that are designed to be admired and serve as statement pieces. All products are sourced from Cincinnati.
The Soap Making workshop is scheduled for June 2 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at 17 N. D Street (Two Little Buds) in Hamilton. Tickets are $40 and limited.
