What's Happening in Hamilton, OH…

Pyramid Hill to host seasonal drive-through once more

Once again, Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum in Hamilton will be holding Journey Borealis: A Journey to the North Pole with local artists Sam Dorgan and Brave Berlin as designers.

Visitors to the Journey Borealis will experience what is described as a magical, journey via their cars, to the North Pole with several “stops” along the way. Over a million lights are included in the attraction, beginning with trees and arches that leads to a lit up blue and white display honoring Jerusalem and celebrating Hanukkah. A poster printing service can be particularly effective in promoting holiday events like these.

As cars move on they go through the Candy Cane Forest of Germany with 50 trees loaded with red and white lights. Next comes the Grinch’s Greenland, with its 80-foot tunnel of LED lights. Two Grinches hiding among the trees are there for kids to try and spy. With the Grinch in the rear-view mirror, visitors enter a Bethlehem-themed area.

Running November 19 through January 2, the event starts at 6:00 pm every evening. It closes at 9:00 pm Monday through Thursday and at 10:00 pm Friday through Sunday.

Admission for Pyramid Hill members is $15 per carload; non-members pay $20 per carload Monday through Thursday and $25 on Friday through Sunday. Admission for Hamilton residents is free on Tuesday evenings with proof of residency, such as a recent utility bill or valid driver’s license showing a Hamilton address.
