A weekend of music is set to arrive in Hamilton next month, providing area music lovers with a way to listen to their favorite tunes in the summer heat.
David Shaw’s Big River Get Down, presented by Miller Lite, has an official start weekend, and Hamilton residents are invited to make reservations and enjoy the show. The festival will be a two-day event, with touring bands and musicians playing sets throughout the day. In addition to the main stages, the festival will feature side stages for further entertainment throughout the day.
The festival’s headliners are David Shaw and The Revivalists, with other up-and-coming bands and artists taking the stage leading up to the main event. Banner printing is a colorful way to make impressions on attendees and passersby while promoting the event’s sponsors. Other top performers who have committed to the festival include Andy Frasco and the U.N., Eddie 9V, and Maggie Rose.
The shows will be held outdoors, and interested parties are encouraged to check and dress for the weather conditions for a comfortable visit. Late night sets will be played by Miss DJ Bliss, PJ Howard and the Pure Joys.
RiversEdge at Marcum Park in Hamilton will be the host venue for the weekend music festival, which will start on Friday, July 18th, at 6:30 PM. General admission tickets cost $70.19 per person online.
