Golfers and enthusiasts in the Hamilton area will want to dust off their clubs and prepare to hit the links, as a golf outing and fundraiser are in the works nearby.
The 3rd Annual Evan Huxsoll Memorial Golf Outing will open enrollment in a few weeks, allowing interested parties to register to play golf for a good cause. The money raised by golfers and attendees will go toward a memorial scholarship to support area students in their academic endeavors.
Golfers who sign up for the outing will participate in 18 holes of golf using a four-person scramble format. The host venue’s driving range will be open and free to access starting at 11:30 AM. Players will receive swag Bags and other giveaways throughout the outing, allowing each person the opportunity to leave a winner. Attendees and golfers will be treated to a buffet dinner after the golfing concludes. Prizes will be available through the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin competitions. Spots are limited, and registration ends on May 7th.
The outing is scheduled to begin on Friday, May 16th, from 12:30 PM until 6:00 PM, at the Walden Ponds Golf Course. Golfer registration costs $100 per person online.
