Marcum apartments will soon be ready for tenants

Finishing touches are being made to Marcum Apartments here in Hamilton, and soon the 102 apartments will be ready to welcome the inaugural residents.

In total, 60% of the Marcum’s units were reserved prior to a model apartment opening on August 28. As of September 11, the building’s three-bedroom apartments were mostly rented out and only a few of the one-bedroom apartments are left, leaving two-bedroom apartments as the majority of the vacancies.

A variety of views – including the Great Miami River, Marcum Park and downtown Hamilton – are available from the one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments at the Marcum. In addition to interior and exterior shots, views available from various points in an apartment building are often included in materials sent to brochure printing companies.

Monthly rents range from $1,560 at the high-end down to $890 and are based on the apartment’s size and view. Units feature stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Ten-foot-high ceilings are found in the first-floor apartments while the ceilings on the three uppermost levels are nine feet.

Due to the street level apartments having no need for elevators, they will be available for occupancy sometime in September; however, the bulk of the units will not be available until October 15. The Tano Bistro, it will open at the northwest corner of the building at street level in the first or second quarter of next year.
