Hamilton Fitton Centers upcoming virtual Member Show

Starting on today, artwork supplied by Hamilton Fitton Center members, as part of the 7th Biennial Fitton Center Member Show, will for the first time be on display in a virtual gallery.

As members submit their artwork via digital imaging, the online exhibit will grow; the deadline for submissions will be June 19. The Fitton Center’s website, as well as its social media platforms, will feature the virtual exhibition, which will include ceramics, paintings, photography, pottery, mosaics, fiber art.

A flyer printing service is sometimes used to spread the word about a members-only-perk or benefit to the public to entice new members to check out an organization.

The Fitton Center’s director of education Kate Rowekamp, who is also its digital content producer, has said that the Center’s website dedicated to the show will be continually updated. Submissions for the Members Show will be displayed in a gallery view and include profiles of each participating artist.

Participation in the show is free and is open to Fitton Center members who are at least 18 years of age. Members are permitted to submit as many as two entries. At the last member show, which was in 2018, 100 Fitton Center members entered 160 works of art. The Member Show is only held in even numbered years.
