Hamilton business group to help members network

The Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce is helping its members gain networking leads by holding another in its sequence of networking leaders’ meetings.

While much of the information for this specific meeting still needs to be announced, Chamber officials have at least announced the date and time.

According to Chamber staff, this event is meant to create a structured environment in which Chamber members can get to know each other better. Ideally, this will turn into more leads for Chamber businesses. Each member who attends the event will be given a chance to describe who they are and what they do via a 60 second “commercial,” which is sometimes known as an “elevator pitch.”

This event is geared around exchanging contact information and building business relationships. As such, Chamber members are encouraged to bring Business Cards and any Promotional Products that can explain who they are and how they can help other local businesses.

The event will be held on Tuesday, September 19, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, although the location has yet to be confirmed. Potentially interested hosts are encouraged to contact Chamber officials for more information.

Also to be announced is a Spotlight Speaker, who is given a few minutes to discuss their business and how it can help Chamber members.

Tickets to the event are free, but lunch is not included.
