The fifth annual Hamilpalooza, the city’s free street fair, is scheduled to take place on the streets surrounding Marcus Park at the end of this month.
The festivities will include shopping, food and entertainment. Additionally, many local organizations (both business and non-profit) will be on hand offering literature explaining the services. More than 100 vendors are expected to turn out in Downtown Hamilton for the event.
According to the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, on hand will be clubs and organizations, repurposed and vintage items, as well as new ones, service organizations, small businesses in the trades and professional services, and non-profits. Vendors selling unique gifts and trendy home décor will also be there, along with a variety of business-to-customer businesses.
Wise vendors always bring a stack of Business Cards to events like this, as attendees may wish to contact them at a later date to engage them or purchase their goods or services.
Naturally, there will be food. Trucks, caterers, and restaurants will all be on the premises selling their wares. To ensure there is a healthy mix of foods available, only one vendor per category will be permitted, meaning only one BBQ vendor, one pizza booth, and so on.
A family-friendly event, Hamilpalooza takes place Saturday, August 27, from noon to 6:00 pm. The event is free to attend.
