Butler Philharmonic Orchestra brings back dazzling Mendelssohn performance

The Butler Philharmonic has announced that it will be hosting what it describes as a “crowd-favorite” concert once again.

The concert, featuring a repeat performance of Felix Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto, will be done as a way to kick off a concert series at the Sorg Opera House, located in Hamilton.

This is not the only event that will be offered as a part of this series. As part of the venue’s efforts to reach into the broader community, the Sorg Opera House will also present Master Classes for opera students or individuals who are interested in learning more about opera. Students will be able to learn directly from Mastero Fatu.

For more information, interested individuals can view the event website. The Sorg Opera House uses the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce to promote this event, meaning it is the sort of occasion where flyer printed may help distribute information locally. The Chamber’s website gives users a chance to see what restaurants and discounts are available, as well as which businesses are open on a Sunday evening.

Tickets are $20 and the event will be held on Sunday, January 22, at 3:00 pm. The concert usually lasts until 4:30 pm, meaning that individuals will have a chance to see the concert and then get a meal in downtown Hamilton if they wish.
