Agave & Rye coming to Hamilton
The Agave & Rye Mexican restaurant chain has chosen Hamilton as its fourth Ohio location.
Started in 2018 and based in Covington, Agave & Rye will have nine restaurants when the one in Hamilton opens in 2022, a long wait for taco and tequila lovers, to be sure. The Hamilton location will be at the intersection of South East Street and Main Street.
Agave & Rye CEO and founder, Yavonne Sarber, explained her company’s philosophy this way:
According to the company every one of its restaurants have a unique aesthetic, reflecting the city and local flavor and merging it with Agave & Rye’s own.
In addition to a restaurant’s décor, printing services can customize several products to continue the establishment’s design scheme, such as menus, aprons and even signs used to distinguish the Men’s from the Women’s.
The new restaurant will offer an assortment of tacos and modern Mexican cuisine, plus, a large selection of whiskey and tequila as well as handcrafted cocktails.
The Hamilton Agave & Rye will have seating for over 100 diners indoors and an additional 200 guest on the patio. An estimated 50 to 60 employees will be hired from the Greater Cincinnati area.
