A popular event is returning to Fairfield in person soon.
The 13th Annual Village Green Car Show will be rolling into the community bringing a full day of food, fun, motorcycles, cars, and music. People need to pre-register to show their cars, and the fee for registration includes entrance to the show, and eligibility for judging, a commemorative magnet for the dashboard, and access to a Driver’s Lounge where they will find drinks and snacks in air-conditioned comfort.
The timeline for the day is as follows:
3.30 pm – onsite parking and registration begins. Car Show Event staff members will direct drivers to their parking spots. Banner printing can be used to create decorations for outdoor events like this.
3.30 pm until 6.30 pm – Judging
6.45 pm – winning ticket for split the pot announced
8.30 pm – Awards announced
Awards will include 5 Judge’s Choice; 10 Special Recognition; 36 Outstanding Vehicles; 4 Outstanding Motorcycles; and 75 Kids’ Choice.
Anyone who wants to enter a vehicle in the show needs to register beforehand. The fee is $12 for pre-registration, or $15 if the vehicle is registered after September 4. The show will take place September 11, at the Village Green Park, from 3.30 pm until 10.00 pm. Anyone who wants to have their vehicle judged must be in the show by 5.30 pm, as judging ends at 6.30 pm. The show will go on rain or shine.
All monies raised go to support the Fairfield Community Foundation’s Lisa Brown Scholarship Fund.
