The community of Fairfield will be kicking off the holiday season with an upcoming event.
The Fairfield Parade of Lights is not just a parade but also marks the kick-off of community holiday events which give back to those in need. The evening will see participants able to enjoy the parade and participate in fun activities at the end of the parade route.
Parade and holiday events can be a great way for local organizations to get their names out there and give back to the community. Oftentimes those participating in the parade will make use of banner printing services, to ensure that parade goers can see their organizational information from farther away and in the evening lighting.
In addition to the parade itself the evening will also act as the first day for both the Festival of Trees and the Giving Tree events. These, along with a children’s craft activity, will be taking place inside the Community Arts Center. Outdoors, in Village Green Park, there will be food trucks, live reindeer and a dance performance to enjoy.
The parade will start at 6pm from Waterworks Park and make its way through Fairfield streets until the end point at Village Green Park. The other activities of the evening will take place at various times between 5pm and 7pm. More details regarding timelines and parade routes can be found online.
