Current and prospective pet parents in Fairfield have an upcoming opportunity to explore shopping and services for their four-legged friends.
Bark in the Park is a new event in the city, but one that is hoping to become an annual tradition. Hosting vendors as well as rescue and adoption organizations, there will be plenty for attendees to explore.
Since there is such a wide variety of organizations on site at events such this one, it is common for participating vendors to make use of business card printing. Allowing those attending the event to take a business card helps them remember the booths they stopped at even after the event is over.
Attendees of the afternoon event will be able to participate in photo ops with their pets, raffles, and a split-the-pot. The day is also acting as a fundraiser for a local animal rescue. In addition, there will be food available, as well as music and activities that both owners and pets can participate in.
Bark in the Park will be taking place on Saturday, October 3 at Fairfield’s Village Green Park, 301 Wessel Dr. The event officially begins at 3:00 pm and will conclude at 6:00 pm, though those looking to get their shopping done earlier can explore vendor booths as early as 2:00 pm. There is no registration or cost for the event.
