Those in Fairfield who have an interest in trying new teas might be interested in an upcoming workshop and tasting experience.
The local event will provide the opportunity to try eight different teas and learn about current trends and steeping techniques.
The session will be guided by an experienced and well-travelled tea enthusiast, allowing attendees to gain insight into tea traditions from around the world. As a part of the tea tasting, participants will start with more traditional and simple teas before moving on to more complex and specialized blends. Those attending the workshop may wish to make notes of their favorites for later use.
Kristina Tucker, the Minister of Enlightenment for the Republic of Tea, will be the evening’s presenter. The Republic of Tea will be providing all the flavors that will be discussed, as well as a raffle prize that all those who attend will be entered to win. Additionally, all participants will be gifted a Ginger Peach Traveler's Tin.

The event will be taking place on Wednesday August 26, from 7 pm to 8 pm. The Cooking School at Jungle Jim’s Fairfield, located at 5440 Dixie Highway, will serve as the workshop location.
