Plans for Ohios Great Corridor underwaycities asking for funding

Plans to revitalize Ohio’s riverfront cities from Fairfield to Sydney are currently underway. Ohio’s Great Corridor includes approximately 80 miles of paths and parks that stretch all the way from Auglaize County to Butler County. Miamisburg, located north of Fairfield, is among the four Ohio cities that have pooled their resources to form this revitalization project. These four cities will present plans for the project at the Fourth Annual River Summit on March 31. It will take place from 8 am to 1:30 pm in the College Park Center located at the University of Dayton. The cities involved in the project will make a pitch for public funding of the project, which will transform five counties along the Great Miami River. The cities hope the project will draw outdoor recreationists to the area and create a multitude of businesses to the riverfront cities and the surrounding areas.

With the prospect of new businesses, parks and other attractions coming to the area in the near future, printing companies in and around the Fairfield area may find themselves with extra business as well. New businesses generally seek out local Print companies for services such as business card printing, flyer printing and a number of other printing services. Parks and other recreational areas may also require brochure printers, postcard printing or other services.

Besides Miamisburg, the other cities that are pooling together resources to help make this revitalization project happen include Dayton, Piqua and Troy.
