An old style bank tournament will be taking place in Fairfield the weekend of March 24. Michael’s Billiards and Truman Hogue will host the event at Michael’s Billiards and Games, located at 6625 Dixie Highway. The tournament is open to billiard players of all skill levels. The event starts on March 24 at 11:00 am and continues until the 25th at 10:00 am.
Fairfield businesses and organizations in the area that hold special events, tournaments or other activities often have a need for local printing services in the form of flyer printing, banner printing and other advertising methods provided by local Print companies. Special events such as the old style bank tournament at Michael’s Billiards and Games will possibly draw in a number of billiard fans and enthusiasts from various areas through advertisements such as Flyers, Posters and Banners that were printed by local Print companies.
A $60 entry fee is required to participate in the tournament. The event will be limited to the first 64 entrants to sign up and register. A $500 prize fund will be added for 32 players or less, while a $1000 prize will be added for more than 32 players. The tournament will be played on Diamond 9’ tables and will be a full rack with a race to 23 balls. Double elimination will also be implemented.
A mini-tournament will occur on Friday, March 23 with a $20 entry fee. It will start at 8:00 pm and will be a race to two.
